Join us! We will convene the Network in San Francisco for GIN2003 around the theme of Innovating for Sustainability. GIN2003 will be our 11th international conference, a gathering of professionals from many sectors, disciplines and countries, dedicated to building a sustainable future. The conference registration fee for the four days includes access to all sessions, exhibitions, breakfasts, lunches, reception, annual Network banquet, farewell celebration, and conference materials. The conference opens 10:00am, Sunday, October 12 with the Welcome and start of presentation sessions, and the first Plenary Session on Framing the Issues will take place on Sunday afternoon. The conference will close 4:00pm, Wednesday, October 15. The registration fee for conference participants (including presenters) is $525 for GIN members, $650 for non-members. Accompanying person rate: $175 for persons accompanying fully registered/paid delegates, providing access to breakfasts and evening programs. Pre-registration and payment are requested by September 30, 2003 so that we can make all the needed preparations. If you plan to register and pay at the door, please allow extra time for signing in. For payment at the door, only checks or cash are accepted; we will not be accepting credit card payments at the door. Travel and accommodations costs are additional and are not the responsibility of the conference organizers.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy
If you cancel your GIN2003 Conference registration by September 30, 2003, the conference registration fee will be refunded to you minus a charge of $50.00. After September 30, 2003, registration fees are not refundable. A paid registration fee may be transferred to another person for conference registration without charge, but notice of transfer must be made to the Conference Secretariat GIN2003@greeningofindustry.org no later than September 30, 2003.

GIN2003 Conference Hotel: Hotel Nikko San Francisco
The GIN2003 Conference venue is the Hotel Nikko San Francisco, 222 Mason Street, near Union Square and Market Street. GIN conference participants are entitled to a special rate for accommodations at Hotel Nikko for the conference dates as well as three days prior to and after the conference. The Hotel will hold our block of rooms and special rate through September 10, 2003. CLICK HERE for information on accommodations and room reservations.

San Francisco Travel Information
We chose San Francisco and the Hotel Nikko for many reasons, including ease of travel access by public transportation. There is no need to rent a car.

Getting there
If you are flying in, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK), are your most likely air destinations. You can get into the city by public transit (BART) from both SFO and OAK. BART will take you very close to the GIN2003 Conference venue, Hotel Nikko San Francisco (use the "Powell Street" BART stop).
