We are pleased to announce the International Symposium, Water and Climate Change: Research and Policy for Industrial Transformation, organized collaboratively by the Greening of Industry Network (GIN) and Center of Clean Technology and Environmental Policy (CSTM) at University Twente, The Netherlands; and the Research Center of Environmental Quality (CICA) ITESM-CEM. The symposium will take place November 7-8, 2007.

The objective of the symposium is to enhance and stimulate dialogue among representatives of the academy, industry, and government in order to convey the state-of-the-art and best practices relating to policies, strategies, and instruments for mitigating climate change and its effects. Water will be emphasized in the proceedings due to its relevant role as one of the most prominent drivers of the climate change phenomenon.

The symposium will be held in the Center of International Competitiveness (CCI) on the Campus of Mexico State. Your participation will bring more opportunities to share knowledge and create agendas for research, policy, and strategy on a global stage.
